01What to report
- Spam sent from a StackSouk mailbox or server.
- Phishing pages, fake shops or other scams on a site we host.
- Malware, hacked sites, or a server attacking other machines.
- Content that uses your copyright or trademark without permission.
- An AI agent that pretends to be a person, spams people or gives harmful answers.
- Sexual content involving anyone under 18. Please also report it to the NCMEC CyberTipline. We report it too and keep the evidence for the police.
02What to put in your report
- The web address, domain name, email address or IP address you are reporting.
- What happened, and when (date, time and time zone).
- Evidence: for spam, the full email with its headers; for a web page, the exact address and a screenshot.
- How we can reach you, if you want an answer.
Do not send us malware or illegal material as an attachment. A description and the address are enough.
03What happens next
We confirm that we received the report, check it, and act. That can mean a warning, removing the content, or suspending the mailbox, site or account. Serious cases go to the upstream provider or the police.
We may tell our customer that a complaint came in. We do not give them your name or email address unless you agree or the law requires it. Our rules for customers are in the acceptable use policy.
04Copyright notices (DMCA)
To ask us to remove material that infringes your copyright, send a written notice with all of these:
- Your physical or electronic signature (or that of the person allowed to act for the owner).
- The copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- The material you want removed, and exactly where it is (the web address).
- Your name, postal address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not allowed by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or allowed to act for the owner.

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice. We forward it to the person who complained, and we can put the material back unless they start a court case within 10 to 14 business days.
05Please report in good faith
A false report can hurt an innocent business. Report only what you believe is abuse. Knowingly false copyright notices can make you liable for damages under US law.
