Terms of Service
What you buy from StackSouk, how billing works, and the limits of our responsibility. Written for a US company, in plain words.

01Who you buy from
The seller is StackSouk, a company in the United States. The brand name is StackSouk. Our address is the business address in our records (ask us through our contact page). Email us at [email protected].
You must be 18 or older to buy. The person who creates the account is responsible for what happens on it.
02What StackSouk sells
StackSouk is our own brand. Some products are ours. Some are services we buy from other companies and resell to you under the StackSouk name. We are the company you pay, and the company you contact for support.
- Hosting, email and domains. We resell these from a wholesale provider. We are not the registry, and we are not an ICANN-accredited registrar.
- AI chat and voice agents. We resell these from a white-label platform. The agent is software, not a person.
- Digital downloads and software licences, including Super Editor.
- Set-up services done by people, such as moving a site or setting up email.
03Hosting, email and domains
Hosting, business email and domain names run on infrastructure we buy wholesale and sell under the StackSouk name. The wholesale provider and, for domains, the registrar stay in the background. If you ask who the registrar is, we tell you.
Registry and registrar rules still apply to a domain you register, including accurate contact details and your right to move the name to another provider. You can ask us for your domain transfer code at any time. The details are in the domain registration terms.
We may suspend hosting, email or a domain if you break the acceptable use rules, if a payment fails, or if the law or the upstream provider requires it.
04AI agents
AI chat and voice agents run on a white-label platform and are sold to you as a StackSouk product. You set the instructions. You are responsible for what the agent says and does on your site or phone line.
An agent can be wrong. Do not rely on it for legal, medical or financial decisions without a person checking the answer. Tell your visitors they are talking to software.
05Downloads and the Super Editor licence
Skill packs, workflow packs and other downloads are licensed to you. We do not transfer our copyright. You may use them in your own work and in client work. You may not resell the files, post them publicly or give them away.
Super Editor is licensed per machine: one licence activates one computer. You may not share one activation across several computers, remove the licence check, or rent the software out. An activation keeps working offline for up to 14 days, then it checks the licence again. Changing computers? Free the old one in My Stack, then activate the new one.
06Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed monthly unless the page you bought from says yearly. A monthly plan renews each month until you cancel. A yearly plan renews for another year unless you cancel before the renewal date.
You can cancel any time in the billing portal (My Stack → Billing). Canceling stops the next renewal. It does not erase the period you already paid for. Refunds are explained in the refund policy.
07Set-up services
Set-up work is a service done by people: moving a site, setting up email, or installing a kit. The price and the scope are what the order page says. Work starts when we begin that job, not when you pay. The refund rule for work that has started is in the refund policy.
08Payments and tax
Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Prices on the site are in US dollars and do not include tax. Stripe adds sales tax where the law says we must collect it, and shows it before you pay.
09Sign-in
Sign-in is provided by Clerk. Keep your login to yourself. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else is using your account.
10Your content and ours
You keep the rights to the sites, files and messages you put on the service. You give us permission to host, copy and send that material only so we can run the product you bought.
We keep the rights to the StackSouk site, the Super Editor software, our kits and our brand. These terms do not give you those rights, except for the licences described above.
11Stopping an account
We can suspend or close an account that does not pay, breaks the acceptable use rules, or creates a legal or security risk. We tell you first when we can do so safely. If we close an account for abuse, we do not have to keep providing the service.
12Service levels
What we promise about uptime, support replies and maintenance is in the service levels (SLA). Where the SLA promises a credit, that credit is the remedy for missing the promise.
13Limits on our liability
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. Upstream hosting, the registrar, the AI platform, Stripe and Clerk can have outages we do not control.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect damage. Our total liability for a claim about a product is limited to the fees you paid us for that product in the 12 months before the claim. Some states do not allow some of these limits. In those states, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.
14Law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of the state where StackSouk is registered, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are handled in the state or federal courts located in that state, and you agree to that venue.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page, with a new date at the top. If you keep using StackSouk after the new version is posted, you accept it.
